Life is busy and we tend to focus on what is right in front of us now rather than what we might be doing in 5, 10 or 20 years’ time.

We also often make financial decisions on a weekly or monthly basis without any overarching strategy in place. As individuals we are limited by our own experiences and it is human nature to repeat the same habits and the same thought processes.

This is unfortunate as these behaviours can have a significant impact on our finances over time.

Whatever your situation, goals and aspirations in life, a thoughtful approach to investments and wealth planning could mean the life you want to lead is far more easily achieved.

But that requires you to spend time on your finances – whether planning for your retirement, helping your family or leaving a legacy – and you know you will make that time… just not now!.

She has 30 years’ client-facing experience in the banking industry, both in the UK and the Isle of Man. Prior to taking the client proposition role, Beckie worked as a senior private banker, responsible for excellent service delivery to a range of private clients.
