Life is busy and we tend to focus on what is right in front of us now rather than what we might be doing in 5, 10 or 20 years’ time.
We also often make financial decisions on a weekly or monthly basis without any overarching strategy in place. As individuals we are limited by our own experiences and it is human nature to repeat the same habits and the same thought processes.
This is unfortunate as these behaviours can have a significant impact on our finances over time.
Whatever your situation, goals and aspirations in life, a thoughtful approach to investments and wealth planning could mean the life you want to lead is far more easily achieved.
But that requires you to spend time on your finances – whether planning for your retirement, helping your family or leaving a legacy – and you know you will make that time… just not now!.
We are launching this new website to help you understand more about the financial options open to you – and more articles will follow.
As I highlight in my article Is it worth investing in financial knowledge, finance wasn’t a subject taught at school and given we don’t generally talk about money, how are you supposed to understand the complexity – and that’s if you can get past the jargon?
We hope that you find the articles on insights.nedbankprivatewealth.com interesting and insightful. Please get in touch with me via email if you have any feedback on the site, or if there is a topic you’d like one of our experts to cover.
If you are interested in learning more, please sign up for a newsletter using the sign up option below. You can also scroll further to see more of the latest articles from the team, or select one of the categories of topics to see more on that subject. We welcome any feedback on the site. This can be emailed to Beckie Williams or the marketing team directly. Thank you for your support.
